Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior housekeeping experience preferred
ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
capability to stand and walk for extended periods
willingness to follow all company policies and procedures
strong attention to detail
reliable and punctual
good communication skills

understanding of safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

Clean hotel guestrooms, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways
sort, count, fold, mark, or carry hotel linens
clean hotel according to franchise standards and within required timeframes
replenish supplies such as bathroom necessities, drinking glasses and writing supplies
move furniture, hang drapes, and roll carpets to ensure compliance with franchise requirements
transport trash and waste to disposal area
replace light bulbs
stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment
greet guests in warm, friendly manner
ensure key control and security policies to maintain guest privacy and security
use materials, chemicals, and tools safely
communicate with maintenance department regarding room needs
