Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior housekeeping experience preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • capability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • willingness to follow all company policies and procedures
  • strong attention to detail
  • reliable and punctual
  • good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred

  • understanding of safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Clean hotel guestrooms, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways
  • sort, count, fold, mark, or carry hotel linens
  • clean hotel according to franchise standards and within required timeframes
  • replenish supplies such as bathroom necessities, drinking glasses and writing supplies
  • move furniture, hang drapes, and roll carpets to ensure compliance with franchise requirements
  • transport trash and waste to disposal area
  • replace light bulbs
  • stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment
  • greet guests in warm, friendly manner
  • ensure key control and security policies to maintain guest privacy and security
  • use materials, chemicals, and tools safely
  • communicate with maintenance department regarding room needs
