The role of Room Attendant/Housekeeper at McKibbon Hospitality is a vital one, central to the overall guest experience. This position involves maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and inviting atmosphere of guest rooms and suites. As a Room Attendant, you will play a key part in ensuring that every guest feels at home by delivering impeccable housekeeping service with a friendly and helpful attitude. Job Requirements

  • Identification verifying you are at least 18 years of age
  • US Citizenship verification is required
  • Ability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift pull and push moderate weight minimum of 35 lbs
  • Must be able to use stairs and ladders as needed to perform cleaning tasks including high areas
  • Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience beneficial
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and suites including bathrooms living areas and bed changes
  • Working with the housekeeping team to deliver spotless inviting rooms
  • Providing professional courteous teamwork to assist housekeeping and laundry teams
  • Maintaining a clean stocked housekeeping cart for daily efficiency and preparing it for next day service
  • Using professional cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
  • Restocking guest room supplies including toiletries coffee tea towels
  • Reporting maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department
