The role of a Housekeeper at KHC is crucial in maintaining the impeccable standards that the corporation is known for. In addition to the cleaning tasks, the Housekeeper plays an important role in guest relations by greeting guests warmly and maintaining key control and security policies to protect guests’ privacy and personal belongings. The position also requires regular communication with the maintenance department to report any room needs or issues. Physically demanding, the job requires employees to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and occasionally lift or move heavy items up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow safety and dress code policies
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willingness to use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Cleans hotel guestrooms, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways
- Sorts, counts, folds, marks, or carries hotel linens
- Cleans hotel according to franchise standards and within required timeframes including bed making, dusting, washing walls and woodwork, vacuuming and scrubbing floors, cleaning windows and door panels, emptying wastebaskets, and cleaning bathrooms
- Replenishes supplies such as bathroom necessities and drinking glasses
- Moves furniture, hangs drapes, and rolls carpets to ensure compliance with franchise requirements
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area
- Replaces light bulbs
- Stocks, organizes, and maintains housekeeping carts and equipment
- Greets guests in a warm, friendly manner
- Ensures key control and security policies to maintain guest privacy and security
- Uses all materials, chemicals and tools safely
- Communicates with maintenance department regarding room needs
