Housekeepers also replenish supplies like bathroom necessities and drinking glasses and ensure proper organization and maintenance of housekeeping carts and equipment.

In addition to the cleaning tasks, the Housekeeper plays an important role in guest relations by greeting guests warmly and maintaining key control and security policies to protect guests’ privacy and personal belongings. The position also requires regular communication with the maintenance department to report any room needs or issues. Physically demanding, the job requires employees to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and occasionally lift or move heavy items up to 50 pounds.
