Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping
- effective communication skills
- attention to detail and time management
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate
- attended skills training school
- English literate to meet business needs
- good knowledge of housekeeping’s daily operations on guest floors
- flexible with working hours
- able to work morning and evening shifts, weekends and public holidays
- good knowledge of chemical usage and cleaning rooms
Job Duties
- Carry out assigned cleaning duties for guest rooms which may encompass duties such as making the beds, sanitizing the bathrooms, dusting surfaces, and vacuuming floors
- keep track of the usage of bed linens, towels, and guest toiletries and replenish them as needed
- fulfill extensive cleaning responsibilities whenever needed
- stock, maintain, and transport the housekeeping supply cart, always prepared and ready for immediate use
- responsible waste disposal and recycling practices
- respond to guest requests in a timely manner
- ensure rooms meet the hotel’s cleanliness and hygiene standards
