Job Requirements

  • repetitive stair climbing and occasional ladder use
  • ability to kneel squat stand sit bend and twist for extended periods
  • ability to lift push or pull up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally

Job Duties

  • clean and prepare guest rooms according to established standards including vacuuming mopping surface cleaning dusting and restocking supplies
  • change linens and ensure rooms are clean orderly and guest ready within expected time and quality standards
  • maintain cleanliness and appearance of public areas as assigned
  • meet expected minutes per room or productivity standards while maintaining consistent quality and attention to detail
  • follow property checklists brand expectations as applicable and required cleaning protocols
  • provide courteous service forward interaction with guests when encountered
  • offer and communicate hotel amenities products and services when appropriate supporting a positive guest experience and property revenue goals
  • assist with laundry duties as needed including handling staging and replenishing linens
  • communicate maintenance needs and work orders to maintenance and or management in a timely manner
  • work collaboratively with the front desk and room attendant leadership to prioritize rooms and operational needs
  • know and follow property emergency procedures and support safety and security standards for guests and associates
  • handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to training and policy
  • perform additional responsibilities as assigned consistent with hotel operations and business needs
