Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning custodial work or janitorial services
- Hotel experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and hard surface maintenance
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards with a focus on guest comfort and satisfaction
- Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness in all areas
- Good physical stamina to stand bend lift and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Prior housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn is essential
Job Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms including beds bathrooms floors furniture and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment
- Perform floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets mopping hard surfaces and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and common areas
- Restock supplies like toiletries linens towels and minibar items to prepare rooms for new guests
- Conduct routine inspections of public spaces including lobbies restrooms conference rooms and hallways to uphold cleanliness standards
- Handle janitorial tasks such as waste removal window cleaning and deep cleaning projects using industrial cleaning equipment when necessary
- Follow safety procedures during cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries while maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to report maintenance issues or inventory shortages promptly
