The role of Housekeeper at Sandpiper Hospitality is critical to maintaining the impeccable standards the company upholds. As a Housekeeper, you will be the backbone of guest comfort and the champion of cleanliness throughout the property. This position is physically demanding and hands-on, requiring a meticulous approach to cleaning and sanitation. Your responsibilities will include cleaning various assigned areas such as guestrooms, lobby, corridors, elevators, laundry facilities, and stairways in accordance with company protocols and timelines. Your work ensures a pristine environment that enhances the guest experience and supports the operational functioning of the hotel.
Beyond cleaning duties, your role involves replenishing essential supplies, managing waste efficiently and hygienically, and maintaining housekeeping equipment and carts to ensure they are ready for use. The role requires strong guest service skills as you will be greeting guests warmly and maintaining a positive presence across the property. Additionally, you are expected to contribute to safety and security measures by adhering strictly to company policies designed to protect guests, staff, and property.
Housekeeping staff also support laundry operations, handling tasks such as sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and towels with care. This adds to the overall cleanliness and presentation standards the company maintains. The position emphasizes safe and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, preventing accidents and damage. Facility maintenance, particularly in House and Commercial Laundry areas, is also part of your duties, helping to keep all workspaces organized and functional.

Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Clean hotel areas including guestrooms, lobby, corridors, elevators, laundry facility, and stairways according to company standards and within required time frames
- replenish supplies such as bathroom necessities, drinking glasses, linen and terry in guest rooms and restrooms
- transport trash and waste to the disposal area efficiently and hygienically
- stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment
- always greet guests in a warm, friendly manner providing a welcoming presence
- strictly adhere to safety and security policies to ensure personal safety, guests and their belongings, and company property
- perform house laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing company linen and terry
- contribute to the cleaning and organizing of the House and Commercial Laundry areas
