The role of the Hotel Host at Hyatt Place is pivotal in delivering the brand's promise of exceptional guest experiences. Hotel Hosts play a key role in representing the hotel’s commitment to top-tier customer service and teamwork. This position requires a professional who values high standards of excellence and is dedicated to crafting a home-away-from-home atmosphere for guests. The Hotel Host is responsible for managing multiple guest-facing areas including the Hotel Host Stand, Bakery Café, Guest Kitchen, e-room, and TV den, ensuring these spaces are clean, comfortable, inviting, and operating smoothly.
In addition to overseeing these areas, Hotel Hosts handle guest interactions from check-in to check-out, contributing to the seamless flow of the guest experience throughout the stay. The role also includes servicing meeting rooms, offering versatile support in a variety of guest service functions. Success in this role depends on strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and previous guest service experience. The Hotel Host must be a quick learner, capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking to meet the diverse needs of hotel guests.
The position demands a genuine desire to satisfy guest needs, flexibility in scheduling including availability for AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays, and a basic proficiency in computer skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with the physical ability to lift, pull, or push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs). This role is suitable for individuals who are proactive, personable, and motivated to contribute to a welcoming and supportive hotel environment, making every guest’s stay enjoyable and memorable.

Job Requirements

- Manage the Hotel Host Stand effectively

- Service and prepare meeting rooms for guests
- Communicate clearly and warmly with guests to ensure satisfaction
- Multitask and handle guest inquiries and requests efficiently
