As a leading player in the hotel industry, Indus Hospitality Group prides itself on delivering outstanding service and creating memorable moments for guests while fostering growth and development opportunities for its employees. The company values innovation, inclusivity, and a supportive culture where every team member's contribution is recognized and encouraged.
The Guest Service Manager role at Indus Hospitality Group is pivotal in ensuring smooth front desk and guest services operations. This full-time position requires dedication to elevating guest satisfaction from the moment guests arrive until their departure. With a competitive starting pay range of $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, this role demands strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality. The Guest Service Manager will supervise front office staff, assign shifts, monitor performance, and enforce adherence to hotel policies and procedures to maintain high service standards.
In this role, the Guest Service Manager handles guest concerns, manages room inventory, and coordinates seamlessly with other hotel departments to facilitate efficient and responsive service. They lead by example to create a friendly and professional front office environment that aligns with brand standards and hotel policies. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, specifically availability for weekend shifts and the 4:00 pm to 12:00 am timeframe to meet business needs.
Additionally, the Guest Service Manager will be responsible for administrative tasks such as monitoring guest satisfaction results, processing department payroll, managing supplies and inventory, and overseeing accounting and purchasing functions related to the Market/Pantry. Ensuring cleanliness and functionality of the front office, lobby, and surrounding areas is another key aspect of the role, along with maintaining updated records and communication logs.
The role also includes significant supervisory responsibilities—directly overseeing front office associates, participating in interviewing and hiring, training staff, assigning work, conducting performance appraisals, and managing reward and disciplinary processes. By attending staff meetings and evaluating service trends, the Guest Service Manager contributes to continuous improvements in service delivery and operational efficiency.
This position is ideal for candidates with one to three years of related experience or training, an associate degree or equivalent education, and a hands-on approach to hospitality management. Physical demands include the ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds, and the work environment includes exposure to outdoor weather, dust, chemicals, and typical hotel activity noise levels. Indus Hospitality Group offers a dynamic career opportunity for motivated individuals seeking to grow professionally while playing a critical role in guest experience management and team leadership.
