Job Description

Kenwood Inn and Spa, part of the prestigious Four Sisters Inns collection, is a boutique hotel renowned for its serene atmosphere, exceptional guest service, and beautiful accommodations. Situated in one of California's most desirable destinations, the inn offers guests an authentic and personalized experience that highlights the best of the local culture, cuisine, and scenic beauty. The Kenwood Inn and Spa is proud to be part of Four Sisters Inns, a company that has built a loyal following over the past 45 years by emphasizing high-quality service and a culture that values employees, guests, and investors alike. As a majority woman-owned business, Four Sisters Inns operates with a commitment to integrity, inclusivity, and a professional yet welcoming work environment. The company encourages collaboration and teamwork, creating a small team setting where individual input is valued, and every team member’s efforts contribute directly to the success of the guest experience.

The Kenwood Inn and Spa is currently seeking two part-time Guest Services Associates who will become essential ambassadors of the hotel's warm and inviting environment. These positions require availability primarily on weekends, including specific shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. As a Guest Service Associate, you will play a vital role in managing the entire guest experience from the moment a reservation is made until check-out. This includes warmly greeting guests upon arrival, assisting them in planning their stay, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise with grace and professionalism. Your role involves fostering genuine connections with guests through multiple communication channels such as in-person interactions, telephone, email, and text messages.

Besides ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, you will be responsible for promoting upsell packages, providing local recommendations, and assisting with reservations for appointments or special activities to enhance guest stays. Your ability to multitask and collaborate with other departments such as housekeeping, kitchen staff, and maintenance is crucial. You will sometimes step in for management in their absence, demonstrating leadership and ensuring the hotel’s seamless operation. By embodying the Five Core Values of Four Sisters Inns—Grace, Grit, Attentiveness, Adaptability, and Above & Beyond—you will contribute significantly to maintaining a high standard of service and guest satisfaction.

Joining Kenwood Inn and Spa offers the unique opportunity to work within a beautiful hotel collection in California while benefiting from a range of perks such as paid sick leave, team member discounts, yearly free nights at select inns within the Four Sisters portfolio, and access to professional growth opportunities including certifications and training. Employees also enjoy a tax-saving 401K retirement plan, adding financial security to a rewarding career in hospitality. If you have a positive attitude, excellent customer service experience, and a passion for travel and local knowledge, this role is designed for someone eager to make a meaningful difference in their guests’ experiences and grow within a supportive and evolving team environment.
