One of the properties under Buffalo Lodging Associates is the Hampton Inn by Hilton located at 25 Middlesex Turnpike in Billerica, Massachusetts. This hotel offers a prime location near US-3, just 15 minutes from Hanscom Air Force Base, and a 35-minute drive to both Downtown Boston and Historic Salem. The hotel boasts 129 beautiful guest rooms and offers guests access to nearby attractions such as Great Brook State Park and Burlington Mall. Guests appreciate the daily seasonal breakfast provided by the Hampton Inn, which enhances their overall stay experience.

The Hampton Inn by Hilton-Boston/Bedford/Burlington is currently seeking a full-time Front Desk Agent to join their team. This role is a key front-facing position where the agent acts as the face of the hotel, responsible for providing superior guest service and ensuring a warm and welcoming environment. The position requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience with Hilton is preferred but not required.

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for greeting guests warmly and managing the check-in and check-out process efficiently using the property management system. Handling cash, credit card transactions, and safeguarding goods at the property are critical responsibilities of this role. The agent must be adept at identifying guest needs, providing relevant information about hotel services and amenities, and responding to all guest requests promptly to foster a comfortable and accommodating atmosphere.

Additionally, the Front Desk Agent will manage reservations by answering incoming calls, inputting reservation data into the hotel management system accurately, and updating or canceling reservations as needed. This role demands strong customer service skills, an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with computers, including software such as WORD, EXCEL, and the property management system.

Job Requirements

  • Customer service experience
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • computer knowledge including property management systems, WORD, and EXCEL
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • prior Hilton experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience in a hotel setting preferred
  • Hilton experience is a plus
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • computer proficiency including intranet, property management systems, WORD, and EXCEL
  • valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
