The role of Hotel General Manager at Pestana Orlando is pivotal to the continued success and operational excellence of the property. Reporting directly to the Country Operations Manager, this full-time position is ideal for a service-oriented individual with natural leadership qualities and confidence in decision-making. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel with a particular focus on Front Office activities, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery across all departments. This includes leading and managing multiple operational areas while coordinating closely with Heads of Department to achieve set operational goals and budgetary targets.
The role demands a strategic yet hands-on approach to maintaining and elevating brand standards throughout the hotel. The General Manager will supervise the internal sales and reservation teams to ensure quality standards and targets are consistently met, while also orchestrating VIP guest experiences and special events with meticulous attention to detail. A key part of the position involves fostering a guest-centric culture by inspiring and motivating a high-performing team dedicated to exceeding guest expectations. Regular operational meetings with department heads will be essential to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and ongoing evaluation of the hotel’s business performance.
Candidates for this position must bring solid experience managing similar properties, ideally within the 4-star hotel segment, and hold a degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or Business. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate within the diverse team and guest base. The General Manager should also possess robust financial acumen for budgeting and financial planning, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven track record of inspiring teams to deliver superior guest experiences.

Job Requirements
