Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a general manager in a 4 to 5-star hotel or resort
- Willingness to relocate to Chicago
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to handle budgeting and financial forecasting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Hands-on approach to management
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of 4 to 5-star hotel or resort experience as general manager in Chicago is a must
- Must be willing to relocate to Chicago
- Hands-on leadership
- Ability to think critically to develop strategies for success
- Thrive in an ever-changing & fast-paced environment
- Need to be able to analyze a p&l to ensure cost controls
- Ability to analyze guest service reports and recognize market trends
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Lead and develop team members
- Identify all property needs and execute a plan to address those needs
- Prepare operational budgets, facilitating financial planning and expense control
- Forecast revenue based on market segments and execute a plan to exceed revenue goals
- Create a memorable guest experience
- Oversee and manage overall operations of the hotel, including but not limited to front office, sales, food & beverage, housekeeping, and engineering
