Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience as a general manager in a 4 to 5-star hotel or resort
  • Willingness to relocate to Chicago
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to handle budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Hands-on approach to management

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of 4 to 5-star hotel or resort experience as general manager in Chicago is a must
  • Must be willing to relocate to Chicago
  • Hands-on leadership
  • Ability to think critically to develop strategies for success
  • Thrive in an ever-changing & fast-paced environment
  • Need to be able to analyze a p&l to ensure cost controls
  • Ability to analyze guest service reports and recognize market trends
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Lead and develop team members
  • Identify all property needs and execute a plan to address those needs
  • Prepare operational budgets, facilitating financial planning and expense control
  • Forecast revenue based on market segments and execute a plan to exceed revenue goals
  • Create a memorable guest experience
  • Oversee and manage overall operations of the hotel, including but not limited to front office, sales, food & beverage, housekeeping, and engineering
