One of their latest ventures is the opening of a new Fairfield Inn & Suites in Draper, UT, comprising 131 rooms. The role of Hotel General Manager at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Draper is a pivotal position responsible for leading the hotel's opening and day-to-day operations. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and requires a motivated individual who is organized, enthusiastic, and capable of managing all aspects of hotel operations. The General Manager will spearhead the operational opening process, including establishing vendor relationships, managing critical path activities and timelines, recruiting and hiring staff, and cultivating strong ties with the local community. Additionally, the manager will assist with pre-opening sales and marketing efforts, ensuring the hotel's successful launch and positioning in the market.
The General Manager's responsibilities extend to working within the budgeted staffing model to hire department managers and line-level staff as the hotel prepares for its opening slated for the first quarter of 2027. They will collaborate with other Woodbury hotels in the area to identify target accounts and market segments, enhancing the hotel's competitive edge. Familiarity with Marriott and Fairfield Inn & Suites standards and training programs is essential, as the manager will assist in implementing these standards to maintain brand consistency and quality.

Job Requirements
- 3 years of previous hotel management experience and preferably some exposure to both hotel operations and sales
- proficiency in written and verbal communication ability to use conversational Spanish is helpful
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests vendors and associates
- strategic thinking planning and execution to achieve topline results
- ability to organize and manage prioritize and meet deadlines of multiple projects
- experience with hotel systems including Property Management Systems Revenue Management Guest Satisfaction Surveys and Review Platforms Sales e-commerce forecast and budgeting
- experience with Marriott systems is a plus
Job Qualifications
