Job Description
Northern Quest Resort and Casino is a premier entertainment destination located in the Pacific Northwest, owned and operated by the Kalispel Tribe of Indians. This vibrant resort offers a luxurious hotel, a world-class casino, diverse dining options, and a variety of entertainment and recreational amenities designed to provide guests with an unforgettable experience. Northern Quest Resort and Casino is committed to excellence in customer service, quality, and safety, creating a welcoming and exciting environment for visitors from around the region and beyond. As a Four Diamond rated hotel, Northern Quest prides itself on maintaining high standards in guest services, accommodations, and overall guest satisfaction, making it a top choice for travelers seeking both relaxation and entertainment.
The role of a Guest Services Associate at Northern Quest Resort and Casino is pivotal to the guest experience, focusing on facilitating smooth check-in and check-out procedures, managing all activities related to guest reservations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls. This position demands a high level of customer service, attentiveness, and professionalism, as the associate acts as the first and last point of contact for guests during their stay. Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining accurate reservation information through the hotel property management software, handling billing and credit transactions, and providing comprehensive information about the resort's offerings and local attractions.
This full-time role requires the ability to multitask efficiently, work collaboratively with other departments such as Valet and Bell Staff, and uphold the Four Diamond service standards that distinguish Northern Quest Resort and Casino. The Guest Services Associate is expected to anticipate guests' needs and address any inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and courteously. This role also involves upselling hotel services and amenities, contributing to the resort's revenue goals while ensuring guests receive thoughtful and personalized service. Candidates should be comfortable working varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and a strong work ethic.
In addition to frontline guest services, the associate may be called upon to assist in other hotel areas such as concierge duties, RV resort front desk management, and hotel reservations to support the seamless operation of the property. The role does not include supervisory responsibilities but requires excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and to maintain a positive atmosphere within the resort. By adhering strictly to safety protocols, confidentiality standards, and company policies, the Guest Services Associate plays a crucial role in protecting the resort's assets and reputation.
This position is ideal for candidates with some prior experience in customer service or hospitality, especially those who have worked in a Four Diamond hotel environment or similar settings. A strong command of computer systems, particularly property management software and Microsoft Office programs, is essential. Northern Quest Resort and Casino is an equal opportunity employer that values dedication, integrity, and professionalism, offering a workplace where employees can thrive and grow within the hospitality industry.
