The Castle on the Rock is a notable landmark in Spokane, known not only for its impressive architecture but also for the warm and inviting atmosphere it offers to both guests and employees. This historic hotel blends charm and tradition with modern hospitality service, providing a unique and memorable experience for every visitor. The Castle on the Rock is dedicated to delivering superior guest services, making it a sought-after place to stay for tourists and business travelers alike. With a reputation for excellence, the hotel prides itself on a team-oriented environment where guest satisfaction is the top priority.

The Hotel Front Desk Agent role at The Castle on the Rock is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about the hospitality industry and have a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. This position involves being the first point of contact for guests, handling a variety of responsibilities that are key to the guest experience. The successful candidate will be welcoming guests with a friendly demeanor, managing room bookings both in person and through phone and online channels, and addressing guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care. They will also work closely with housekeeping staff to ensure that rooms are prepared to the highest standards before guests arrive.

In this role, attention to detail is crucial as the front desk agent will be responsible for general bookkeeping tasks to keep accurate records of guest accounts. Ensuring that each guest's check-in and check-out process goes smoothly is also a fundamental part of the job, which includes issuing the correct keys and providing information about amenities, rates, and special programs such as rewards incentives. The hourly compensation for this position ranges from $18 to $20, reflecting the valuable role this team member plays in maintaining the hotel's high standards.

This role suits candidates who thrive in dynamic, people-oriented environments and enjoy problem-solving in fast-paced settings. Strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly are essential. If you have prior experience in the hospitality sector or related fields and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems, you may find this position to be a great fit. Furthermore, this is a chance to join a team that values dedication, professionalism, and a genuine desire to create positive experiences for guests, all within the beautiful and historic setting of The Castle on the Rock.
