We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our dynamic team. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the guest experience by providing efficient and friendly check-in and check-out services. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. The Hotel Front Desk Clerk will be required to accommodate various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring front desk coverage at all times. Job Requirements

  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Flexible working hours including shifts of 8A-4P, 4P-12A, 12A-8A and in between shifts when needed
  • Working holidays and weekends
  • Bilingual is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school diploma
  • Basic knowledge of computers
  • Customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills
  • Superior listening skills
  • Front desk experience recommended

Job Duties

  • Check in guests and provide them with directions to their room
  • Inform guests of all on-site amenities and any relevant information that is needed to use them
  • Answer phones professionally
  • Create reservations over the phone and in person
  • Handle and resolve guest complaints
  • Invoice and bill guests for their stay and services used
  • Communicate with guests to better understand their individual needs to provide them with the best service possible
  • Perform administrative and clerical work as requested from time to time
