We are currently seeking a Professional and Dependable Hotel Front Desk Agent with specific Marriott experience to join our team. This role is essential as it represents the guests' first point of contact during their stay, directly impacting their overall impression and satisfaction. The Front Desk Agent will manage all facets of guest accommodation efficiently, courteously, and professionally, ensuring guests receive top-tier service from check-in to check-out.

This full-time and part-time position requires open availability for varied shifts including 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am, emphasizing flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of hotel operations. The hourly pay ranges from $13 to $14 depending on the candidate’s experience with Marriott systems and FOSSE (Front Office System Software Environment). The Front Desk Agent's responsibilities are multifaceted, including handling guest check-ins and check-outs, processing payments, managing guest requests and complaints, and accurately posting all charges using the hotel’s Property Management System (PMS). They will communicate regularly with departments such as Sales, Engineering, and Housekeeping to ensure seamless guest services. Additionally, agents are trained to promote the hotel’s loyalty programs and local attractions, enhancing the guest experience and encouraging repeat visits.

Customer service is at the core of this position. The ideal candidate demonstrates confidence, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm. They must acknowledge guests promptly with a smile and the 15/5 rule (greeting guests within 15 feet or 5 seconds) to foster a warm reception. Continuous guest engagement and proactive service exemplify the role’s expectation. Personal business conversations amongst staff are discouraged during working hours to prioritize guest focus.

The position also requires maintaining the lobby and front desk areas' cleanliness and organization, adhering strictly to safety standards and emergency procedures, and wearing the proper uniform and nametag to support a professional image. Successful candidates will also be expected to open and close shifts responsibly, including accurate cash handling, balancing registers, and posting adjustments as needed.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
