Positioned just minutes away from Duke University and Duke University Hospital, this hotel stands at the heart of one of North Carolina's most dynamic and fast-growing regions. With over 300 guest rooms, extensive meeting and event spaces, and a variety of amenities tailored for both business travelers and leisure guests, Millennium Hotel Durham caters to a diverse clientele that includes corporate visitors, university guests, and group event attendees. As part of the global hospitality leader Millennium Hotels & Resorts, which operates over 145 hotels worldwide in key destinations, Millennium Hotel Durham benefits from a strong legacy of quality, consistency, and service excellence. The brand emphasizes a passion for hospitality, entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and a progressive, solution-oriented approach, which reflects in every aspect of its operations.

As a Front Desk Agent at Millennium Hotel Durham, you will serve as the face of the hotel, responsible for creating warm and lasting first impressions that define the guest experience. This role requires a passionate hospitality professional who excels in customer service, possesses strong communication skills, and thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You will be instrumental in delivering personalized guest experiences, addressing guest needs with a solutions-first mindset, and fostering positive interactions that align with the hotel’s core values: Passion for Hospitality, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Innovation and Progressiveness, and a Solution and Results-Oriented approach. Your role will include collaborating closely with team members across various departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence.

The Front Desk Agent position is crucial to maintaining the hotel's reputation for outstanding guest service. It involves managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring that all documentation and reporting are accurate and compliant with company policies and safety standards. This role demands an individual who can adapt to varied work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the hospitality industry’s operational realities. Moreover, experience with property management systems like Opera is considered an asset, though not mandatory, with training provided to successful candidates.

Millennium Hotel Durham values its employees deeply, offering a comprehensive benefits package designed to promote health, wellness, and financial security. Employees receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life and AD&D insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, and access to a 401(k) retirement plan with company match where applicable. Additional perks include paid time off and holidays, hotel room discounts across the global Millennium Hotels & Resorts portfolio, and an Employee Assistance Program to support personal and professional well-being.

Joining Millennium Hotel Durham means becoming part of a global organization committed to people, performance, and growth. Whether you are working behind the scenes or on the front line, your contributions support a culture centered on hospitality, collaboration, and achieving results. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those seeking career growth and the chance to make an impact in a thriving hospitality environment.
