Job Description

The Sunny Hotel, located in the picturesque Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, is more than just a hotel—it's a sanctuary of genuine hospitality, thoughtful design, and unforgettable guest experiences. Nestled right on the sand, The Sunny offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere that invites guests to relax and create lasting memories. As a part of the Davidson Hospitality Group, an award-winning operator behind leading hotel and restaurant brands, The Sunny Hotel is committed to excellence in service and creating exceptional moments for every visitor. The property not only boasts a prime beachfront location but also a culture rooted in attentiveness, care, and authenticity, making every guest feel truly valued and welcomed.

The Sunny Hotel is currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Front Desk Agent to join its dynamic team. The Front Desk Agent role plays a pivotal part in shaping the guest experience from the moment of arrival to departure. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting and enjoy interacting with diverse guests. The agent will be entrusted with organizing, confirming, and processing all guest check-ins and check-outs, managing room reservations—handling requests, changes, and cancellations—and overseeing payments and billing with precision. A crucial aspect of the role includes serving as a reliable source of information and support to every guest, ensuring their needs are met promptly and warmly.

Beyond administrative duties, the Front Desk Agent is expected to embody The Sunny Hotel’s signature service approach, which is warm, attentive, and authentically caring. This includes activating and distributing room keys efficiently, relaying messages accurately, and responding effectively to guest inquiries and requests. The position requires maintaining a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills, as this role is the face of the hotel and vital to crafting a positive and memorable first and last impression.

This role requires availability for a flexible schedule that includes AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the varying needs of guests. Candidates must prioritize customer service excellence, adhere to professional work habits including punctuality and appearance standards, and participate actively in personal and professional development opportunities offered by the hotel. Safety and security are paramount, and the Front Desk Agent must follow all protocols and contribute to a secure environment by identifying and reporting potential risks.

Joining The Sunny Hotel means becoming part of a vibrant hospitality team supported by Davidson Hospitality Group’s comprehensive benefits program. Employees enjoy multiple tiers of medical coverage, dental and vision insurance, 24/7 Teledoc service, free maintenance medications, pet insurance, exclusive hotel and dining discounts, tuition reimbursement, paid time off including vacation, sick, bereavement, and holidays, as well as a 401(k) plan with company match. These benefits demonstrate the company’s commitment to supporting the health, well-being, and financial security of its team members.

Overall, this Front Desk Agent position at The Sunny Hotel presents a fantastic career opportunity for hospitality professionals eager to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a beautiful, beachside setting while enjoying the support of a reputable hospitality group and comprehensive employee benefits.
