Job Description

Candlewood Suites Nashville Metro Center is a well-established extended stay hotel located in the vibrant city of Nashville, Tennessee. As part of the IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) family, Candlewood Suites is renowned for providing guests with a home-away-from-home experience by offering spacious suites equipped with fully functional kitchens and amenities designed to enhance comfort and convenience. The hotel caters to both business and leisure travelers seeking long-term accommodations with a personalized touch, professional service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

At Candlewood Suites Nashville Metro Center, the commitment to maintaining high hospitality standards is paramount. The hotel prides itself on delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, attention to detail, and upholding the values of the IHG brand. Staying true to these principles, the hotel has created a warm, friendly environment where guests feel valued and cared for throughout their stay.

We are currently seeking a professional, friendly, and reliable Front Desk Agent to join our dedicated team. This vital role serves as the first point of contact for guests, where you will be instrumental in creating positive first impressions and ensuring seamless interactions from the moment guests arrive until their departure. The position offers flexible shift options, including first shift (7am-3pm), second shift (3pm-11pm), and night audit (11pm-7am), with weekend availability required to meet operational needs.

As the Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for managing the entire check-in and check-out process using the Hotel Key Property Management System (PMS), ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Providing guests with a warm welcome and professional assistance, you'll handle reservations, accommodate special guest requests, process deposits and electronic payments, and manage billing with great precision. You will also play a crucial role in promptly addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that arise, maintaining a solution-focused attitude to uphold guest satisfaction.

Your role extends beyond guest service to include effective communication with internal departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and management to support daily operations and room readiness. Commitment to upholding IHG brand standards is essential, as completing required training modules and following specified procedures and service expectations ensure consistency and quality across guest experiences.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with prior hotel or customer service experience who possess excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor. Familiarity with Hotel Key or similar property management systems is advantageous but not mandatory. Dependability, punctuality, and flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays are important traits for success in this role.

In return, Candlewood Suites Nashville Metro Center offers a supportive and friendly work environment with opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the IHG brand. Employees benefit from flexible scheduling, paid time off where applicable, and exclusive employee discounts at IHG hotels worldwide. Starting pay for this role is competitive, beginning at $16.00 per hour, reflecting the value placed on exceptional service and dedication to guest satisfaction.

Join our team and contribute to creating memorable stays for our guests while developing your hospitality career in a vibrant and dynamic setting. If you are passionate about guest service and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, this Front Desk Agent position at Candlewood Suites Nashville Metro Center is the perfect fit for you.
