Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of progressive leadership experience in food service
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Financial literacy including budget understanding
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift 10 to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment as needed
- Willingness to work in various temperature conditions and floor surfaces
Job Qualifications
- At least 3 years of progressive leadership experience in food service
- Customer-service focused with understanding of customer expectations
- Knowledge of food and culinary design desired
- Strong financial knowledge including budgeting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work as part of and develop a team
- Strong delegation and collaboration skills
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Food Service, Hospitality, or Business Management
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Involved in strategic planning for the department
- Manage operational effectiveness
- Implement and enhance service, quality, and sanitation standards
- Ensure efficient and friendly guest service
- Provide daily feedback to improve operations
- Communicate operational and financial objectives to staff
- Motivate, train, cross-train, and develop assistant managers
- Decide on promotions and transfers
- Provide staff feedback to improve performance
- Monitor budget targets and labor hours
- Oversee food cost management
- Monitor money handling and inventory
- Adjust operations based on guest forecasts
- Enforce company policies and administer disciplinary actions
- Develop yearly personal development plans
- Monitor cost controls and provide budget input
- Ensure safety and sanitation compliance
- Conduct food safety audits with culinary leadership
- Manage maintenance and sanitation issues
- Serve as manager on duty or park duty director
- Act as divisional contact for operational and emergency issues
