Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- vocational or technical background
- at least 2 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
- must meet applicable state and federal certification and licensing requirements
- valid driver’s license
- ability to perform physical tasks such as moving objects up to 50 pounds
- ability to climb stairs, ramps, and ladders
- ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- proficiency in multiple technical categories including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry
Job Qualifications

- extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration
- experience with parts inventory and requisition
- knowledge of exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- at least 2 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
- valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Respond to guest repair requests
- communicate with guests and customers to resolve maintenance issues
- perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment including cleaning and lubrication
- visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
- troubleshoot and perform repairs on equipment such as pumps, motors, plumbing, and electrical devices
- follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout
- perform advanced troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- train and mentor other engineers
- perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities including readings and rounds
