Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- some experience in general maintenance and painting
- ability to perform minor drywall and wood trim repair
- valid driver’s license
- ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- ability to perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- basic computer literacy
- willingness to work day and evening shifts
- adherence to company safety and security policies
- no supervisory experience required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- some experience in general maintenance
- experience in exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- basic knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- basic electrical knowledge
- mechanical and plumbing skills
- familiarity with pneumatic and electronic systems and controls
- carpentry and finish skills
- ability to operate kitchen equipment
- ability to perform troubleshooting on various equipment
- effective communication skills with guests and team members
- basic computer skills
- adherence to safety standards
- driver’s license
Job Duties
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests
- communicate with guests and customers to resolve maintenance issues
- perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment including cleaning and lubrication
- visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- carry equipment such as tools and radio
- identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves and utility shut-offs
- maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
- communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts
- perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement
- test, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing and electrical components
- program TVs and perform housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties
- use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance
- repair interior and exterior landscaping and sprinklers
- display basic computer skills including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes
- follow all safety and security policies and procedures
- report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- properly store flammable materials
- ensure clean and professional appearance
- maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
- welcome and acknowledge all guests
- adhere to quality expectations and standards
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- support team goals
- speak clearly and professionally
- move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- use stairs, ramps, ladders
- reach overhead and below knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- enter and locate work-related information using computers
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested
