Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- some experience in general maintenance
- valid driver’s license
- ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- ability to operate tools and maintenance equipment
- willingness to work full-time
- good communication skills
- ability to follow safety and security policies

- knowledge of exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- basic computer skills
- ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs

Job Duties
- Respond to guest repair requests
- communicate with guests and customers to resolve maintenance issues
- perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical equipment
- visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- carry equipment such as tools and radios
- identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utilities
- maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
- communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts
- demonstrate knowledge in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other systems
- perform surface preparation, painting, drywall and wood trim repair
- replace light bulbs and A/C filters
- test, troubleshoot and repair various equipment and guestroom items
- program TVs and perform housekeeping and inventory duties
- use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance
- repair interior and exterior landscaping and sprinkler systems
- input air handler schedules and adjust temperatures
- follow all safety and security policies
- report maintenance problems and hazards
- maintain uniform and professional appearance
- welcome and assist guests according to standards
- develop positive working relationships
- move and lift objects up to 50 pounds
- navigate stairs, ramps, and ladders
- perform other reasonable duties as requested
