Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years experience in full-service hotel operations
  • Proven leadership across rooms division and food and beverage disciplines
  • Experience with revenue and rate strategy implementation and forecasting responsibilities
  • Background in managing unionized labor within a complex hospitality environment
  • Proficiency in Opera PMS, Amadeus/SFA, and POS systems
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • High emotional intelligence and motivational leadership capability

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day hotel operations across all departments
  • Ensure alignment with brand standards, service expectations, and labor compliance
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between Rooms, Food & Beverage, Sales, and Events to deliver seamless guest experiences
  • Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and full P&L accountability
  • Lead hotel forecasting and rate strategy in collaboration with Sales and Revenue Management teams
  • Analyze key financial indicators and implement strategies to maximize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR
  • Foster a culture of caring for guests, clients, and team members
  • Champion initiatives that elevate guest experiences, operational consistency, and employee engagement
  • Supervise and develop a team of 14+ department heads and supervisors
  • Create and implement training programs focused on operational excellence and service innovation
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning
  • Maintain positive union relations and ensure contract adherence
  • Serve as the property’s service and client ambassador to ensure personalized, anticipatory experiences
  • Lead service recovery and maintain high guest and client satisfaction scores and brand loyalty
  • Build and maintain strong guest relationships, empowering teams to create meaningful interactions
  • Lead hotel projects to ensure the best outcomes and financial results for the client
