Job Description

Hotel Deco is a distinguished boutique hotel located in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska. Known for its impeccable blend of historic Art Deco architecture and modern luxury, this hotel offers guests a unique lodging experience that combines elegance, comfort, and personalized service. The property boasts beautifully renovated rooms, elegant event spaces, and a vibrant on-site restaurant and lounge named The Monarch, which is celebrated for its contemporary cocktails and carefully curated wine list. Situated just steps away from the Orpheum Theater and close to the bustling Old Market district, Hotel Deco is positioned at the center of Omaha's arts, culture, and downtown lifestyle, providing guests with easy access to a variety of entertainment options, dining experiences, and cultural events. The hotel prides itself on creating a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere where both guests and team members can thrive in a dynamic, upscale environment.

As a Food Runner at Hotel Deco, you play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience within the hotel's full-service restaurant. Your primary responsibility is to support the seamless operation of the restaurant by ensuring that food and beverages are delivered to guests efficiently and courteously. Acting as the vital link between the kitchen and dining room, you will work closely with servers to coordinate timely service, maintain proper presentation of dishes, and assist with guest interactions to enhance satisfaction. This role demands enthusiasm, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will be expected to uphold the highest standards of service, consistent with the refined atmosphere of Hotel Deco and its restaurant, The Monarch.

In addition to delivery duties, the Food Runner will assist with maintaining supply levels, keeping work areas clean and organized, and consistently verifying menu knowledge including updates on specials and unavailable items. Effective communication and teamwork are essential as you support both front-of-house staff and management. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality to contribute to a luxury boutique hotel setting.

This is a full-time position with competitive benefits that include medical, dental, and vision coverage, income protection plans, paid time off, and retirement savings options. Candidates who thrive in collaborative environments and seek to grow their careers in upscale hospitality will find this role rewarding. The hotel values diversity, a commitment to quality service, and a vibrant team culture that encourages professional development. Whether you are starting out or bringing experience to the role, Hotel Deco provides a prestigious and supportive workplace to advance your food service career.
