Job Description

Hotel Deco is a distinguished boutique hotel situated in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska, renowned for its unique blend of Art Deco elegance and contemporary comfort. This property is housed in one of Omaha's most iconic historic landmarks, boasting beautifully renovated guest rooms, sophisticated event spaces, and an on-site restaurant and lounge, The Monarch, which features an impressive selection of contemporary cocktails and a carefully curated wine list. Located just steps from the Orpheum Theater and within close proximity to the vibrant Old Market district, Hotel Deco occupies a prime position at the center of Omaha's thriving arts and cultural scene as well as its dynamic downtown atmosphere. The hotel’s commitment to personalized service, exceptional design, and cultivating an inspiring work environment makes it a sought-after destination both for guests and hospitality professionals alike.

The role of Director of Sales at Hotel Deco is an exciting leadership position crafted for a dynamic sales professional ready to spearhead revenue growth, team development, and strategic marketing initiatives within this trendy boutique setting. As the mastermind behind the sales strategy, the Director of Sales will play a pivotal role in packing event rooms, driving record-breaking revenue, and orchestrating a cohesive team culture energized by success and innovation. This overtime eligible manager position requires not only expert knowledge of sales and marketing principles but also a vibrant passion for connecting with people and leading a motivated team.

The Director of Sales will serve as the sales and marketing maestro—crafting innovative campaigns designed to position Hotel Deco as the premier event and accommodation destination in Omaha. This leader will assemble and mentor a diverse sales team, inspiring high energy and a collaborative spirit that relentlessly pursues goals while celebrating every achievement. Responsible for developing sales budgets, forecasting performance metrics, and building lasting client relationships, this role requires a strategic trailblazer who can confidently navigate the hospitality landscape and deliver tangible results.

Additionally, the Director will act as a super connector, engaging in sales calls, client tours, and community networking events to solidify Hotel Deco's reputation and growth trajectory. This role extends beyond sales to encompass operational partnership with the General Manager, contributing an ambassadorial presence that reflects the hotel’s style, positivity, and commitment to excellence throughout every department. Candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments, possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and seek a career defined by leadership and creative impact will find this role exceptionally rewarding.

This position offers a competitive benefits package after an initial waiting period, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability income, life insurance, paid time off, employee assistance programs, and a 401k retirement plan. Additionally, Hotel Deco provides the advantage of daily pay options. If you are an innovative sales leader ready to elevate Hotel Deco’s market presence and build a winning team culture, this Director of Sales opportunity is your stage to shine.
