Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • flexible availability to work various shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen preferred
  • culinary training or certification preferred
  • strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work effectively under pressure
  • attention to detail and passion for food

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to hotel standards and guest specifications
  • follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency
  • maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
  • ensure all food is cooked to proper temperature and presentation standards
  • assist with inventory control and kitchen supply restocking
  • work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient food service
  • adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
