Job Description
Our company has been meticulously built by investing in individual team members, recognizing that they are fundamental to our ongoing success. We are a hospitality entity dedicated to fostering a positive work environment through hiring, training, and retaining skilled and motivated professionals. Our approach emphasizes the creation of cohesive teams where growth, development, and leadership opportunities are prioritized. We understand that by supporting our employees, we cultivate superior results that translate into exceptional service and operational excellence. This philosophy positions us distinctly within the hospitality industry, driving us to maintain high standards across all facets of our hotel management operations.
This role is integral within our hotel’s financial and operational framework. We are seeking a diligent professional to work closely with management to meticulously document and report revenue and expenses, safeguarding all hotel assets in the process. The position involves a wide array of responsibilities that revolve around financial accuracy, compliance with company policies, and the maintenance of internal controls. The ideal candidate will oversee daily cash management activities including auditing revenue centers, preparing reports, processing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with payroll. Additionally, this role includes monitoring petty cash, managing cashier banks, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions through coordination with department heads and corporate controllers.
Attention to detail and organizational skills are paramount in this position, as is the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective teamwork and to interact professionally with both internal and external parties, including guests and vendors. Proficiency in financial management software, Microsoft Office, as well as experience with property management systems (PMS) and point-of-sale (POS) systems is highly valued. This role also provides opportunities to engage with various operational aspects such as inventory control, budget development, and compliance with regulatory requirements related to sales and use tax filings.
This position welcomes candidates who bring flexibility and a proactive approach to daily challenges, embodying the core values and service standards outlined by Legacy Ventures. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a balanced disposition — able to effectively communicate and collaborate for the overall benefit of the hotel and its guests. Working hours may vary, encompassing day, evening, night shifts, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality sector. Joining us means becoming part of a dedicated team that values the contribution of every member towards delivering superior guest experiences and ensuring the financial integrity of our operations.
