The role of a Hotel Concierge Sales Agent based on the island of Oahu in Honolulu presents an exciting opportunity to join Pleasant Holidays as an ambassador for the brand and the Hawaiian culture. This full-time position requires weekend availability and offers a competitive starting wage of $20 per hour, complemented by uncapped commission from day one — a unique chance to earn based on performance. As a Concierge Sales Agent, you will be the welcoming face for guests at various hotel concierge desks throughout Waikiki, providing personalized service by assisting visitors in planning and booking tours and activities. Your role will be instrumental in helping guests craft unforgettable vacation experiences, not only on Oahu but also across neighboring islands.

Working in this capacity, you will interact with a diverse international clientele, making every guest feel valued and at home. The job entails engaging one-on-one with customers, utilizing your knowledge of the Hawaiian Islands or your willingness to learn, and applying sharp sales and customer service skills to recommend tailored travel experiences. The role demands proficiency in computer usage, basic point-of-sale systems, and excellent communication skills, with fluency in English as a requirement and Japanese language skills preferred. Training is provided, encompassing remote onboarding and hands-on instruction at hotel concierge desks, ensuring you are well-equipped to succeed.

Job Requirements

  • On-island residency on Oahu required
  • Full-time availability including weekends
  • Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to personalize recommendations based on guest needs
  • Willingness to learn and knowledge of Hawaiian Islands preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic computer competency with willingness to learn POS systems

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales and/or customer service preferred
  • Background in tourism, hospitality, or travel highly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English required
  • Fluency in Japanese preferred
  • Basic computer skills with POS experience a plus
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences

Job Duties
