The role of Hotel Concierge & Sales Agent at Pleasant Holidays is crafted specifically for vibrant individuals living on the Big Island of Hawai'i, particularly around Kailua-Kona or Waikoloa. This part-time position, offering 25 to 32 hours weekly with weekend availability, invites candidates to engage with guests from around the globe aiming to create unforgettable memories. Starting at $20 an hour plus an uncapped commission earning potential, this job is ideal for those who love travel, culture, and providing outstanding customer service. Training is partly remote and completed on-site at hotel concierge desks, requiring computer and internet access though not mandatory.

Job Requirements
- Living on the Big Island of Hawai'i
- Must complete online application

Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in sales and/or customer service (1-3 years preferred)
- Experience in tourism, hospitality, or travel industry
- Exceptional sales and customer service skills
- Knowledge of the Hawaiian Islands and offered tours and activities
- Ability to understand and cater to customer needs
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse cultures
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Basic computer literacy
- Experience with POS systems preferred
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Japanese preferred
Job Duties
- Serve as ambassador of aloha to guests
- Assist guests in booking tours and activities on the Big Island and neighboring islands
- Provide exceptional sales and customer service
- Work at assigned hotel concierge desks in Kailua-Kona or Waikoloa
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate clearly with guests and team members
- Participate in remote and on-site training programs
