The Concierge role at Four Seasons Houston is an essential position within the Guest Experience team, reporting directly to the Director of Guest Experience. This role involves responding to a wide variety of guest requests with precision, care, and a personal touch. The Concierge must accurately assess guest needs and offer personalized recommendations, ensuring maximum satisfaction while adhering to Four Seasons’ high standards and policies. This position is full-time and offers a competitive salary paired with a comprehensive benefits package. In this role, you will be the face of hospitality and excellence, engaging with guests to handle inquiries ranging from directions and hotel services to local entertainment and dining options. You will play a crucial role in solving guests’ issues promptly and professionally, maintaining the high reputation of the Four Seasons brand. The Concierge also manages logistical aspects such as processing guest mail, packages, and faxes efficiently. Having thorough knowledge of the local cultural and entertainment scene allows you to provide guests with unique experiences tailored to their preferences.
The successful candidate will bring strong interpersonal skills, cross-cultural sensitivity, and a genuine orientation towards outstanding customer service. Job Duties
- Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
- resolves customer complaints
- assists customers in all inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
- responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices
- processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail, both outgoing and incoming, in an accurate and timely manner
- knows what activities are available in the city such as theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing and establishes close contacts with vendors to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests
- stores and retrieves guest luggage and packages
