The role of Hotel Commercial Performance Manager at PAH Management is integral to the company’s success. This position works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Property Leadership. The primary goal is to measure portfolio performance, identify opportunities for growth, ensure accountability, and drive revenue and profitability across the hotel portfolio. This role suits a hospitality professional with strong analytical capabilities who enjoys working with large data sets and translating complex information into clear, actionable business intelligence and performance metrics.

As Hotel Commercial Performance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining company-wide hotel performance scorecards, analyzing revenue trends across the portfolio, and providing strategic insights to leadership. You will centralize data from multiple sources into a comprehensive and reliable performance overview and create dashboards and automated reports to enhance data accessibility. This role also includes developing sales performance reports, partnering with sales leadership to identify gaps and track commercial targets, and overseeing brand compliance and performance metrics. Executive reporting, including the preparation of performance summaries for ownership and leadership teams, is another critical responsibility.

With a focus on forecasting and strategic planning, this role supports annual budgeting processes, validates revenue assumptions, and helps develop performance improvement plans. The position demands exceptional attention to detail and communication skills to present findings in an executive-level, data-driven format. Success in this role is measured by portfolio revenue growth, market share gains, forecast accuracy, and operational improvements. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management business administration finance data analytics or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 to 7 years of hotel industry experience with demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following revenue management hotel sales hotel operations asset management or financial analysis
  • Proven ability to consolidate and interpret large data sets from multiple sources and communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills comfortable preparing and delivering executive-level presentations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to reporting accuracy

Job Qualifications

  • Multi-property or portfolio-level experience in a hotel management company environment preferred
  • Familiarity with Marriott Hilton or other brand performance platforms and reporting tools preferred
  • Prior experience in a commercial performance revenue strategy or business intelligence role preferred

Job Duties

  • Develop maintain and continuously improve company-wide hotel performance scorecards tracking performance against budget forecast prior year market and brand benchmarks
  • Analyze weekly and monthly revenue pace trends across the portfolio identify properties that are outperforming or underperforming expectations and surface findings proactively
  • Create executive summaries and narrative commentary highlighting portfolio risks opportunities and recommended actions
  • Monitor forecast accuracy across all properties and flag material variances to leadership in advance of financial review dates
  • Consolidate and normalize data from STR reports brand reporting platforms revenue management systems CRM systems and sales activity reports into a single reliable performance picture
  • Track and report key commercial performance indicators including occupancy ADR RevPAR RevPAR Index RGI market share revenue pace group pace transient pace lead conversion and sales productivity
  • Design and maintain dashboards and automated reporting tools that reduce manual effort and improve data accessibility for corporate and property leadership
  • Develop and maintain sales accountability reporting that measures prospecting activity sales calls site visits lead generation group production and corporate account performance across all properties
  • Partner with directors of sales and the COO to identify performance gaps establish accountability benchmarks and track progress against commercial targets
  • Provide regular reporting on sales pipeline health and conversion rates to support revenue forecasting
  • Track brand compliance and performance metrics across Marriott Hilton and other brand properties including guest satisfaction scores loyalty contribution digital performance brand ranking and quality assurance scores
  • Identify trends and patterns impacting brand positioning guest experience scores and loyalty performance communicate findings with recommended action steps
  • Produce weekly monthly quarterly and annual performance reports for ownership groups corporate leadership asset management meetings and budget reviews
  • Prepare and present executive-level performance presentations in a concise data-forward and actionable format
  • Ensure all reporting is accurate timely and consistently formatted to PAH standards
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process by validating revenue assumptions and providing historical performance context
  • Assist in the development of performance improvement plans and strategic planning initiatives at the property and portfolio level
  • Track the progress and outcomes of action plans and operational initiatives against established KPIs
