Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience in hotel catering and wedding sales
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Proficient in sales and customer relationship management
- Working knowledge of hotel catering operations
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of catering and wedding sales experience in a hotel setting
- Familiarity with hotel catering menus and profit strategies
- Experience with property management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- College degree preferred
Job Duties
- Selling and booking catering events including business meetings, weddings, and social events
- Building relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business
- Entertaining event planners and maintaining those partnerships
- Preparing effective proposals and finalizing event orders
- Overseeing client functions and ensuring satisfaction through clear communication with all departments
- Promoting the property and driving sales through community networking and attendance at industry events
- Maintaining organized records and correspondence
