Job Description

LHG is a dynamic and expanding hospitality business dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences across the markets we serve. As part of our strategic growth, we are actively seeking talented individuals to join our team, particularly in leadership roles that are pivotal to driving our mission forward. By identifying and cultivating leaders within our workforce, LHG aims to sustain and enhance the quality of service and operational excellence that our customers have come to expect. Our establishment operates within the hospitality sector, focusing on vibrant venues that cater to diverse guest needs, from daily service to large-scale events such as concerts and sporting events at locations like Pinnacle Bank Arena and Husker Games. Recognized for a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and customer-centric service, LHG offers competitive pay and supportive benefits to its team members, reinforcing our commitment to employee satisfaction and development.

The role of Bar Supervisor at LHG is crucial to maintaining smooth and efficient operations during service hours. This position is designed for an individual who is adept at managing staff, overseeing floor activities, and ensuring compliance with all operational and legal standards related to beverage service. The Bar Supervisor will lead by example in a fast-paced environment, coordinating schedules, handling cash reconciliation, and managing inventory with keen attention to detail. Flexibility is essential, as the role demands availability during holidays and high-demand events. Compensation for this role includes a base pay of $17 per hour plus tips, supplemented by a $50 monthly stipend for on-call and cell phone usage. The position requires a minimum commitment of 18 to 24 work hours per week, making it suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment with growth opportunities. Additionally, new hires are eligible for a $200 hiring bonus after 60 days of active employment, and they can take advantage of the Hilton Team Member Travel Program and holiday pay, which enhance the overall benefits package.

As a Bar Supervisor, your responsibilities extend beyond typical bartending duties to include staff management, operational oversight, inventory control, and guest service excellence. You will play a pivotal role in training and onboarding bartenders and servers, delegating tasks to ensure efficient service, and assisting with the creation and management of weekly shift schedules. Your ability to monitor and motivate staff, resolve conflicts, and maintain high standards is essential to our success. Operational duties include managing POS transactions, float management, and safe handling of financial processes such as cash drop-offs and venue security.

Inventory oversight involves conducting stocktakes, managing orders, and maintaining organized storage areas. Compliance with local liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies is a top priority, alongside enforcing responsible beverage service to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for guests. The role also encompasses enhancing the guest experience through proactive customer engagement, managing social media updates related to events and specials, and upholding Hilton's brand standards. With opportunities to take on lead responsibilities in the Supervisor's absence and contribute to strategic initiatives like drink special designs, this role offers a robust platform for professional growth within a reputable hospitality environment.
