This position offers a unique vantage point into the full hotel ecosystem, providing valuable insights into the interplay between sales, operations, and customer service within a full-service hotel setting. The role is designed for a proactive, sales-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building meaningful connections to drive business success.
This opportunity includes a competitive base salary complemented by quarterly bonuses based on performance, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding high achievement. A remote work schedule is available exclusively for candidates residing in the Sacramento metropolitan area, illustrating the company’s flexibility and modern approach to employee well-being. Additionally, this role is tailored for professionals eager to advance within a large, expanding company that offers unlimited growth potential. The Hotel Association Sales Manager must bring a sales-focused mindset, confidence in cold calling prospects, and an ability to foster enduring relationships with clients. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for drafting persuasive proposals and maintaining clear client correspondence. Collaboration is key, as this role involves working closely with multiple departments to customize accommodation packages that perfectly meet client needs. Previous experience in association sales within a full-service hotel environment is highly valued, along with specialized knowledge in government sales and familiarity with the PEP reservations system, which are considered advantageous assets. This position is ideal for those who are polished, energetic, and possess a positive communication style, all of which are critical traits for successfully driving sales and exceeding annual goals of $1 million.
