As a Baker/Cook at Hotel 1928, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the culinary experiences that enhance the guest stay. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about food preparation and baking who enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. The role demands a keen attention to detail, a commitment to food safety and sanitation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Working closely with hotel management and culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, pastries, breakfast items, lunch, dinner, and banquet dishes that meet the high standards set by the hotel. In addition to food preparation, you will help ensure that all storage areas are well organized and clean, with proper handling and labeling of ingredients and finished products. The Baker/Cook position requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends, catering to the dynamic demands of hotel food service.

- Previous experience as a cook, baker, or in a culinary environment preferred

Job Duties
- Maintain high sanitation and food safety standards in all baking and cooking areas
- Ensure organized and clean storage areas for all ingredients, baked goods, and prepared foods
- Properly handle, store, and label all ingredients and finished products at the conclusion of each shift
- Rotate inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste
- Prepare baked goods, pastries, breakfast items, lunch, dinner, and banquet dishes according to hotel specifications and recipes
- Collaborate with management to create daily specials, seasonal menu items, and baked creations
- Maintain clean and orderly prep stations, storage areas, and ingredient par levels
- Perform other culinary duties as assigned by management
