  • Previous experience as a cook, baker, or in a culinary environment preferred

  • Knowledge of food preparation, baking techniques, and health and safety guidelines
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with a positive, collaborative attitude
  • Commitment to exceeding guest expectations
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Maintain high sanitation and food safety standards in all baking and cooking areas
  • Ensure organized and clean storage areas for all ingredients, baked goods, and prepared foods
  • Properly handle, store, and label all ingredients and finished products at the conclusion of each shift
  • Rotate inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste
  • Prepare baked goods, pastries, breakfast items, lunch, dinner, and banquet dishes according to hotel specifications and recipes
  • Collaborate with management to create daily specials, seasonal menu items, and baked creations
  • Maintain clean and orderly prep stations, storage areas, and ingredient par levels
  • Perform other culinary duties as assigned by management
