Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- one year of previous kitchen experience
- ability to work under stress
- ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery, knives, etc.
- ability to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam, and heat
- ability to work evenings and weekends
- high-energy, proactive individual
- attention to detail
- passion about food
- ability to communicate in English or Spanish is a plus
- willingness to obtain Food Handler's card within 7 days of hire

Job Duties
- Demonstrate and uphold our company core values at all times
- accurately and efficiently cook pasta, sauces, and other hot food items according to company standards
- prepare and portion ingredients in advance to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- handle all preparation for items required in daily operations
- communicate effectively with the Cold Line and Food Expeditor to ensure seamless BOH workflow
- take responsibility for daily hotline operations and maintain general kitchen cleanliness
- follow all standard recipes, portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures consistently
- stock and maintain adequate levels of food products at your station to ensure smooth service
- maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, including the walk-in cooler
- comply with all nutrition, sanitation, and food safety guidelines
- perform other duties as necessary and assigned
