Job Requirements

  • One year of previous kitchen experience
  • High energy, proactive individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work and have fun in a diverse team

  • Passionate about food
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a food handler's card within 7 days of hire
  • Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery, knives, etc
  • Ability to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam and heat and work in a confined area
  • Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable bending, reaching, and moving quickly
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to speak or understand Spanish a plus although not required

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate and uphold our company core values at all times
  • Accurately and efficiently cook pasta, sauces, and other hot food items according to company standards
  • Prepare and portion ingredients in advance to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Handle all preparation for items required in daily operations
  • Communicate effectively with the Cold Line and Food Expeditor to ensure seamless BOH workflow
  • Take responsibility for daily hotline operations and maintain general kitchen cleanliness
  • Follow all standard recipes, portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures consistently
  • Stock and maintain adequate levels of food products at your station to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, including the walk-in cooler
  • Comply with all nutrition, sanitation, and food safety guidelines
  • Other duties as necessary and assigned
