Candidates for this role should have at least a high school diploma or be actively pursuing one and possess relevant food handler certifications such as a State Foodhandler card or ServSafe certification. Prior experience in a food preparation environment, preferably within a restaurant or retail setting, is advantageous to effectively handle the demands of the position. Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are mandatory to understand recipes and safety guidelines clearly. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent or in pursuit of same
- ability to complete CBC driver training and pass an MVR according to CBC standards
- maintain a valid driver’s license with insurance
- state foodhandler card or ServSafe certification as applicable
- minimum of 3 months work experience in a food preparation facility, restaurant or retail environment preferred
- ability to understand English (read, speak, write)
