These values create a collaborative and innovative environment where employees are encouraged to grow both personally and professionally.

At Smithfield, employees enjoy competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packages, fostering a supportive work atmosphere with opportunities for career advancement and professional development. The company provides education benefits for eligible full-time and part-time employees, further demonstrating its investment in its team members' futures.

This role invites motivated individuals to join a company dedicated to producing safe, high-quality food responsibly. As a General Production team member at Smithfield Foods, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of meat processing. In addition to operating in physically demanding conditions, employees must be prepared to work in varying temperatures from cold to warm environments, handle sanitation chemicals safely, wear safety equipment such as hard hats, hearing and eye protection, and steel-toed shoes, and manage repetitive physical tasks involving lifting and movement.

Smithfield values dedication and the willingness to learn, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to a purpose-driven company.
