Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age

  • experience in customer service or hospitality preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with energy and enthusiasm
  • answer guest phone calls with professionalism and hospitality
  • follow checklists to set up the host area for a smooth shift
  • maintain a professional image by adhering to appearance and behavior guidelines
  • keep track of table flow and dining room pacing to deliver excellent guest experience
  • adjust seating plans to avoid wait time surprises
  • manage special seating requests consistent with table availability
  • pre-bus tables as necessary
  • communicate constantly with managers and team members to keep service moving
  • support servers and service assistants when needed
  • answer questions about food, wine, and experiences with warmth and knowledge
  • share insights about Barrel Reserve wine during escort to the table
  • help with light side work and maintain entry area
  • keep phone etiquette polished and professional when handling calls and reservations
