Job Duties
- Greet guests with energy and enthusiasm
- answer guest phone calls with professionalism and hospitality
- follow checklists to set up the host area for a smooth shift
- maintain a professional image by adhering to appearance and behavior guidelines
- keep track of table flow and dining room pacing to deliver excellent guest experience
- adjust seating plans to avoid wait time surprises
- manage special seating requests consistent with table availability
- pre-bus tables as necessary
- communicate constantly with managers and team members to keep service moving
- support servers and service assistants when needed
- answer questions about food, wine, and experiences with warmth and knowledge
- share insights about Barrel Reserve wine during escort to the table
- help with light side work and maintain entry area
- keep phone etiquette polished and professional when handling calls and reservations
