Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 30 lbs
  • Able to work in hot and cold environments
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift
  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
  • Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils, and technology systems
  • Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Visual ability including distance, close, color, depth and peripheral
  • Ability to adjust focus as needed
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certification required for California based positions
  • Must comply with company policies and applicable labor laws

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certification or willing to obtain (for California positions)
  • Ability to operate point of sale technology

Job Duties

  • Make memorable first and last impressions with a smile
  • Greet incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner
  • Seat guests in the dining and bar areas, ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff
  • Coordinate waiting and seating guests with a sense of urgency
  • Support all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise
  • Buss tables, deliver food and beverages, and support the dining room
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment and ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
