Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 30 lbs
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils, and technology systems
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Visual ability including distance, close, color, depth and peripheral
- Ability to adjust focus as needed
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Responsible Beverage Service Certification required for California based positions
- Must comply with company policies and applicable labor laws
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Responsible Beverage Service Certification or willing to obtain (for California positions)
- Ability to operate point of sale technology
Job Duties
- Make memorable first and last impressions with a smile
- Greet incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner
- Seat guests in the dining and bar areas, ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff
- Coordinate waiting and seating guests with a sense of urgency
- Support all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise
- Buss tables, deliver food and beverages, and support the dining room
- Maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment and ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
