Job Requirements

Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
able to work in hot and cold environments
ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time up to 8 hours per shift
frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems
ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral
ability to adjust focus as needed

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous customer service experience a plus
good communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work effectively in a team environment
basic knowledge of restaurant food and beverage service
ability to learn and recommend menu items
positive attitude and friendly demeanor
ability to handle busy and fast-paced environments

Job Duties

Makes memorable first and last impressions with a smile
greets incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner
seats guests in the dining and bar areas while ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff
coordinates wait and seats guests with a sense of urgency
demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise
commits to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards
bussing tables, delivering food and supporting the dining room
has general knowledge of the food and drink menu and recommends and upsells products
answers the phone promptly and professionally and directs calls
leads the lobby experience for each guest following hospitality standards
assists servers by serving food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment
