Job Requirements
- Full availability to work restaurant’s hours of operation
- ability to stand for the length of the shift
- ability to reach, grasp, lift/carry up to 10 lbs
- ability to walk, squat, and bend
- use verbal and written communication effectively
- make minor decisions requiring limited judgment
- prioritize workload in absence of specific direction
Job Qualifications
- Previous related experience preferred
- ability to remain calm and professional when working under pressure
- ability to read, speak, and write in English
- ability to be a team player
- capable of attending departmental meetings and trainings
- maintain a positive attitude and set example among colleagues
- ability to adapt to hotel’s grooming standards and dress code
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests
- answer the telephone and take reservations
- manage reservations
- stock menus
- handle guest requests
- provide maximum levels of guest service while maintaining brand and Forbes standards
- ensure restaurant is clean at closing
- receive and follow up on take-out orders
- be flexible to work hours of restaurant operations
- assist servers, bussers, and bartenders as needed
- perform additional duties as requested by supervisor
