As a franchisee of Outback Steakhouse, we are actively seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Host/Server Assistants. This role is critical in shaping the first and lasting impressions of our guests, ensuring their visit is smooth, enjoyable, and tailored to their needs. The Host/Server Assistant position involves a dynamic mix of responsibilities centered on guest hospitality, operational support, and teamwork. Candidates in this role must be warm and friendly, capable of delivering prompt and attentive service in a fast-paced environment. They act as the heart of the guest experience by greeting customers warmly upon arrival and departure, managing seating efficiently in dining and bar areas, and seamlessly handing off to service staff to maintain smooth dining flow.

In addition to guest interactions, Host/Server Assistants contribute to the restaurant’s success by having a general knowledge of the food and beverage menu, enabling them to recommend and upsell select items that enhance the dining experience. Their role also involves entertaining guests during wait times by offering hospitality services such as beverages and food tastings when appropriate, ensuring that waiting is never boring or unpleasant. Strong communication skills are essential, as this position also requires answering phones courteously and directing calls professionally. Beyond guest-facing duties, Host/Server Assistants are expected to support their team by bussing tables, delivering food and bar beverages, and assisting with guest requests, always looking for opportunities to "WOW" customers with attentive service and genuine care.
