The role of Host/Server Assistant at Outback Steakhouse is critical in ensuring that guests receive friendly, prompt, and attentive service tailored to their individual preferences. Additionally, the Host/Server Assistant needs to have a general understanding of our food and drink menus to effectively recommend dishes and upsell items, enhancing the guest's dining experience. During busy periods or wait times, this role also involves keeping guests entertained with exceptional hospitality, which may include offering beverages or food tastings. Handling phone inquiries professionally and directing calls as needed forms an important part of the role, helping to maintain efficient restaurant operations.

Beyond greeting and seating, the Host/Server Assistant is a vital team player who assists throughout the restaurant, including bussing tables, delivering food and beverages, and supporting other staff members.
