Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED preferred
  • good reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills
  • able to interact professionally with other customers and team members
  • able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • good judgment and decision making abilities
  • able to spend 100% of working time standing, walking, and reaching
  • capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting objects
  • ability to maintain balance on various surfaces
  • able to climb stairs and ladders
  • able to carry loads greater than 35 pounds frequently
  • able to communicate clearly in the primary language of the restaurant
  • able to hear normal speaking levels
  • specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED preferred

  • understanding of company policies and federal, state, and local laws
  • knowledge of menu and specials

Job Duties

  • Greet customers with a personable, genuine, upbeat, and unique greeting
  • control the flow of traffic and maintain a clean atmosphere
  • serve as a host by managing seating and monitoring wait times
  • explain menu, drink, and chalkboard specials
  • know credit card policies
  • open and hold doors for customers
  • maintain energy, enthusiasm, passion, and pride throughout the shift
  • assist bussers, servers, and bartenders when needed
  • complete opening, ongoing, and closing sidework
  • provide exceptional customer service
  • accommodate special customer needs
  • maintain a safe, sanitary, and secure environment
  • notify managers of customer complaints
  • perform tasks assigned by managers
