The Host must have a strong understanding of the menu, drink specials, and chalkboard specials to communicate effectively with guests and enhance their dining experience. Additionally, the position involves performing secondary tasks such as assisting bussers with clearing and wiping tables, aiding servers by refilling beverages, and helping bartenders with carry-out orders.
Physical demands of the job are considerable, including standing, walking, and reaching for extended periods, lifting and moving objects heavier than 35 pounds, and maintaining balance on various surfaces. Therefore, the role requires stamina, physical fitness, and the ability to navigate a busy restaurant environment smoothly and safely.
The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good judgment, and decision-making abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and the ability to interact professionally with both customers and team members is essential. Job Duties
