Trilogy at Vistancia is a renowned destination located in Peoria, Arizona, approximately 40 minutes west of Scottsdale and northwest of downtown Phoenix. This premier community offers three unique club experiences: the prestigious Golf Club, the original community centerpiece known as Kiva Club, and the recently introduced Mita Club. The facilities at Trilogy at Vistancia cater to both residents and the public with an array of exceptional amenities including an outstanding golf course, the acclaimed V's Taproom restaurant, a full-service Alvea Spa, and a versatile events and weddings venue. The current opportunity is a part-time Host or Hostess position within the Trilogy at Vistancia Golf Shop and V's Taproom. The role offers an hourly wage of $13.15 plus tips, and it is an ideal position for individuals who enjoy engaging with guests and delivering outstanding customer service. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Host/Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests entering the dining area. This role requires a warm and friendly demeanor to greet guests energetically, seat them appropriately by coordinating with food servers, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
Additional responsibilities include providing guests with knowledgeable information about the resort’s extensive amenities and menu options, answering telephone calls for reservations and to-go orders, and supporting servers by assisting with clearing plates and refilling drinks according to established service etiquette. The position also entails handling cash and card transactions accurately, being vigilant about safety concerns, and promptly reporting any issues to supervisors.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma equivalent preferred
- one to three months related server experience preferred
- must meet state and federal minimum age requirements for serving alcohol if applicable
- current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification
- ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memorandums
- ability to speak effectively and present information
- ability to communicate positively with team members and supervisors
- desire to maintain a positive attitude
- must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- must demonstrate initiative and sound judgment
- good time management and organizational skills
- ability to pay attention to detail

Job Duties
- Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion
- monitor the dining area and select tables for guest seating, depending on food server activity and guest comfort
- show guests to their tables
- create a welcoming atmosphere and provide excellent hospitality by having a working knowledge of the resort facility and dining area
- respond to guest questions about the menu and speak with enthusiasm about other resort services
- answer the telephone and take reservations and to-go orders
- work as team with food servers, assist servers with clearing plates and refilling drinks, according to service etiquette
- handle cash and card transactions, ensure charges are accurate and return correct change to guests if required
- notice and report potential safety issues or customer concerns to a supervisor
- perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
